Sleepy Steve lives in the woods by Barmouth Beach. He loves a peaceful nap, his cosy blue star scarf and, of course, a doughnut or two.
But his favourite adventures are the ones he shares with Louie and Albie — exploring, helping others and finding magic in the simplest things.
On family trips to Barmouth, Leim Prince began telling stories to his two sons, Louie-John and Albie. Somewhere between the mountains and the sea, Sleepy Steve came to life.
What began as a way to make the journey more magical became a series of children’s books, inspired by the places the family loves and the memories they make together.
