Sleepy Steve began on a family car journey to Barmouth. To keep my sons, Louie-John and Albie, entertained along the way, I started telling them about a friendly T-Rex living in the woods behind the beach.
What started as a little bit of imagination on a long drive became something we could share together — and eventually, a book.
With Ellie, I’ve helped bring that world to life: a place inspired by our family, our love of Barmouth and the adventures waiting in everyday moments.
